Nearly bought a new lithium ion drill-driver/flashlight kit but saved about $180 to rejuvinate what I thought was a hopeless situation. I have used occasionaly for 11 years, and hated to part with excellently performing drill and good flashlight. 10 year old Milwaukee 3/8" drill-driver works as well as when new.even better with the 2.4 Amp battery. Originals died because I let run on flashlight until dead thinking I was 'exersising' it for longevity.but learning too late that method will ruin the battery. I purchase this battery as a last resort; charges on the original charger and seems to last 4x longer than the original battery (1.8 Ah). Pricey but worth it.
I tried to take care of the batteries for two years, by not leaving them in the charger for more than it took to charge them up, just charging them up when I used them, not over-discharging them. But they both stopped holding a charge after less than two years. When they're new the drill works great.
Nice OEM battery at a good price. Holds a good charge and recharges fast. Fast shipping was a plus
The new Milwaukee batterys are MUCH easier to use than the old ones. Even if your hands are tired, you no longer have to use a C-clamp to remove the battery from the tool. It works with all Milwaukee chargers, so you don't need a different charger for each tool.
It was a perfect fit for my old Milwaukee 14.4 v drill. It's nice to have the torque and duration back again. Wish these battery packs lasted as long as the drill.
